Getting started

Signing up for Counter Club

What sign-up asks for, why your mobile is confirmed by a code, and what happens on the Free plan versus a paid one.

Sign-up asks for four things: your business name, an email address, a password of ten characters or more, and an Australian mobile. Press Text me a code, type the six digits we send, and then create the account. The code proves the mobile is yours; it is the same check your customers go through when they join your club.

Choosing Free adds a single extra step, a box left unticked for you, with the marketing consent sentence next to it. Free needs it ticked. The consent page explains exactly what it means and how to withdraw.

On Regulars or Local Favourite there is no box. Instead you are taken to a secure card page run by Stripe to set up the monthly payment. Your plan starts once the payment is set up; until then the dashboard asks you to finish it.

Our welcome email carries a link to a page with a Confirm my email button; press it while logged in, because sign-in links and the password-change notice go to that address. Then open the Loyalty card page and set your card.

Did this answer it? If not, write to us and a person replies within one business day.
