Campaigns
Tell the club something, once, without annoying anyone
A campaign is a single message to every member who has not opted out. Write it, save the draft, press "Send now". Email is on both paid plans. Text is on Local Favourite, from a mobile number that is yours alone. Every message carries the member's personal opt-out link, and the Free plan sends none.
Email campaigns
Email goes to members who typed an address when they joined and then confirmed it from a link we sent them. Nobody else gets email. You write a subject and a message of up to 5,000 characters. The footer tells them why they are getting it and gives the link to stop.
- Regulars: 500 campaign messages a month
- Local Favourite: 2,000 a month
- Only confirmed email addresses
Text campaigns
On Local Favourite your texting number comes with the plan at no extra charge. It is set up for you when the plan starts and shows on the Campaigns page after "Your texts go from"; if the page shows Get my sending number instead, press it once. From then on your texts go from that number, so a reply or a STOP comes to your shop and no one else. A text body is up to 300 characters; the message that lands reads your shop name, a colon, your words, then "Opt out:" and the link. If the words run long the words are trimmed, never the link.
Counting messages
Each recipient is one campaign message against your monthly allowance. The whole send is reserved before anything goes out, so a campaign either fits in this month's allowance or is held back with a note of what you have used. Allowances reset on the first of the month, Melbourne time.
What a campaign is not
There is no scheduling, no segments, no personalisation fields, and no automated message of any kind: no birthday text, no win-back, no reminder. Nothing goes out unless you press Send now. It is one message to the club, now. That is the right shape for a shop with a few hundred regulars and a quiet Tuesday to fill.
After you press Send
The campaign shows as sent with the number delivered. Members who opted out before the send are skipped. Anyone who presses their opt-out link or replies STOP after it is skipped from the next one.
Questions about the campaigns
Can I text on the Regulars plan?
No. Texts need a sending number of your own, and that comes with Local Favourite. Regulars sends email.
Why can I not send from a shared number?
Because STOP replies to a shared number cannot be tied to one shop with certainty. Your own number means your members' replies are yours and your opt-outs are exact.
Do I pay per text?
No. Texts and emails both count as campaign messages inside the monthly allowance of your plan. There is no extra charge per message.
Can I preview before sending?
Save the draft and read it on the Campaigns page. Sending asks you to confirm first. There is no test send to yourself.

Setting the card takes two minutes. The first fifty members are free, paid for by a marketing consent instead of a card, and the card runs in full from day one.
