The stamp card

What counts as a stamp

Counter Club counts presses. The rule for what earns a press is yours, and here is how to choose and state it.

A stamp is one press of the Stamp button on a member's row. The software does not see the sale, the amount or the item. What earns a press is your rule, applied by your staff at the counter.

Two rules cover almost every shop. Per item: one stamp per coffee, one per loaf, one per bag of dog food. It fills faster and suits things people buy more than one of. Per visit: one stamp per visit, or one per visit over a spend such as $25. It is fairer when spends vary and easier when the till is busy, because the only question is "did they buy something?"

Pick one, write it under the QR in a line you can say in one breath, and keep it. Staff who have to think about whether something counts stop stamping.

If a staff member presses twice by mistake, the member has an extra stamp. There is no undo in the dashboard; email hello@notachain.com.au with the member and the time and we will fix it. An extra stamp above the target when a card fills carries into the new card, so nothing is lost in a rush.
