For car detailers
A card for the maintenance details between the big jobs
A full detail or a paint correction happens once a year at most, but the owners who care enough to book one also come back for a maintenance detail every month or two. A stamp card on their mobile rewards those visits, so the next big job comes to you as well. Counter Club runs it whether you work from a workshop or the back of a van.
Glossworth Detailing
One stamp per paid job over $80. Five earn a free maintenance detail.

What gets in the way for car detailers
The big jobs are rare
Nobody fills a card on ceramic coatings. Stamp every paid job over a set price instead, so the maintenance details carry the card and the regular stays yours for the big one.
Mobile work has no counter
If you go to the customer, the QR goes on a card left on the passenger seat with the invoice, and in your social profiles. They join from home; you stamp from your phone when the job is paid.
Seasons change the work
Spring pollen, summer road trips, winter grime. A message to the club when the season turns tells regulars it is time, before they book whoever comes up first in a search.
A worked example
Car detailer work, with Counter Club
Glossworth Detailing is a fictional business with one workshop bay and a van. A regular has a $120 maintenance detail every eight weeks and a $450 full detail once a year: seven or eight paid jobs and about $1,230 a year in all. The owner sets the card at 5 stamps, one per paid job over $80, and writes the reward as "a free maintenance detail". A regular on that rhythm fills the card in about eight months, and the reward costs one morning in the bay.
For workshop jobs the QR sits on the counter where keys are handed back. For van jobs it is printed on a card left on the passenger seat with the invoice, and the owner presses Stamp from his phone when the payment lands. In three months 70 customers join and the business moves to Regulars. In early December he emails the 55 members who confirmed an address: "Booking a detail before the summer road trip? The van has room in the first two weeks of December, and club members get a headlight restore free with any full detail." Eight full details are booked that week.

Car detailers on Not a Chain
Not a Chain ranks car detailers by their Google rating, adjusted for how many reviews stand behind it, with chains left out. Figures as of October 2026.
See the car detailers on Not a Chain. Being listed there has nothing to do with using Counter Club: no listing is sold and no rank changes.
Questions from car detailers
I work from a van. Where does the QR go?
On a small card left in the car with the invoice, on your quotes, and in your social profiles. The join link works anywhere, so the customer does not need to be standing in front of you. Stamp from your phone when the job is paid.
Should a ceramic coating earn more than one stamp?
Keep it to one stamp per paid job. A card that counts dollars is a points scheme, which Counter Club does not run. The quality of the big job is its own reward; the card rewards coming back.
How often should a detailer message the club?
Four to six times a year, when the season changes or the diary has room. Say what the job is, what it costs and when you have space.
