Each plan has a monthly allowance of campaign messages: none on Free, 500 on Regulars, 2,000 on Local Favourite. One recipient of one campaign is one message, whether it goes by email or text. A campaign sent to 180 members uses 180 messages.
The whole send is reserved before anything goes out. If a campaign to 180 members would take you past this month's allowance, nothing is sent and the Campaigns page shows how many messages you have used of your limit, with a button to the next plan. You can wait for the first of the month or move up; the draft is kept either way.
The allowance is per calendar month, Melbourne time, and starts again on the first. Unused messages do not roll over.
The sidebar of every dashboard page shows this month's usage as a bar: campaign messages used against the allowance, and members against the cap. Members is a cap on the size of the club, not a monthly count; it does not reset.
A message that fails to deliver is recorded against the campaign as failed and does not count as delivered.
