Text campaigns go from a mobile number that belongs to your shop alone. That is so a reply, and in particular a STOP, lands against your shop and nobody else's. Counter Club never texts members from a shared sender.
The number comes with Local Favourite, at no extra charge; it is part of the plan. We get it for your account when the plan starts, and the Campaigns page shows it from then on, as "Your texts go from" followed by the number. If our carrier has no number that day, the page says your text number is on its way, campaigns go by email until it arrives, and we email you when it is ready. If the page shows a Get my sending number button instead, press it once. There is nothing else to set up.
Replies to that number come back to Counter Club. A reply starting with "STOP", "unsubscribe", "opt out", "no", "cancel", "end" or "quit" opts that member out of your shop's messages at once; their row is marked and future sends skip them. Other replies are not shown in the dashboard yet, so do not ask members to reply.
On Regulars there is no sending number and the Send by menu offers email only. If you move up to Local Favourite, the button appears.
Verification codes sent to customers when they join do not use your number; those come from Counter Club so a customer can join before you have a number at all.
