A campaign text that lands on a member's phone reads: your shop name, a colon, your message, then "Opt out:" and that member's own link. You write only the middle part. The name and the link are added every time and cannot be removed.
Your part can be up to 300 characters. The whole message is kept under 480 characters. If your words plus the name and link would exceed that, your words are trimmed and marked with three dots; the link is never cut. In practice, keep your part under 160 characters and the whole thing reads as a single, tidy text on most phones with room to spare.
Say one thing: the item, the price, the time window. For produce news, "first mangoes in, trays $28 this weekend". For a quiet afternoon, "any coffee and a slice for $9 till 4 today". For new stock, "autumn is in, and the club sees it first on Thursday from 5 to 7".
Do not sign off with your name; it is already at the front. Do not add your own unsubscribe line; the link is already there. Do not ask for a reply either: replies other than an opt-out word are not shown in the dashboard yet, so give your shop's phone number or ask people to mention the text at the counter.
The campaign ideas page has twelve worked examples, each under 160 characters, with the rule each one respects.
